The heating of DC brushless motor in use is a normal phenomenon, but it has a certain control range.

The cause of fever can be recognized from the following aspects:


1. The coil has resistance, and the current flows through the loss of power.


2. The magnetic field of the iron core has a "hysteresis loop", and a part of the magnetic energy converted from electric energy continues to be converted into heat energy.


3. The iron core also has eddy current, and part of the magnetic energy converted by electric energy is converted into current and then into heat energy.


4. There is friction between mechanical rotating parts, and part of the kinetic energy converted from electric energy continues to be converted into heat energy.


It is normal for the DC brushless motor to generate heat at 70-90 ℃, and there is no problem when the temperature is less than 130 ℃. If it feels overheated, set the current of the driver to about 70% of the rated current of the motor or reduce the speed of the motor. When there is no fault, it will get hot under normal conditions. Of course, the normal heating temperature will not be too high.
